Annual Salary Range: $46,950 to $82,417
That's a good salary. In fact, considering some ex-military or private security officers may qualify for an air marshal job with only a high school diploma or associate's degree, the pay range is great. Air marshals are employed by the federal government to guard against attacks targeting U.S. aircraft, passengers and crew. They are trained in handgun accuracy, terrorist behavior recognition and learn "aircraft specific tactics and close quarters self-defense measures.
