Graduation: April 2009
Honors: National Dean's List; Alpha Rho Chi Professional Fraternity

Greetings to all and Happy New Year! My winter break went fine. I returned to work at National Airport and spent time with friends and family. But now it's back to business. This semester is progressing well and I am currently in the process of contracting my honors courses. I am taking 5 classes = 17 credit hours; which include Design Studio 2.2, Structures I, Building Construction, Architectural History III, and CADD. I'm not sure which one I will enjoy the most??? I anticipate that studio and structures will be the most time consuming, however I believe that this semester will be less stressful since I am no longer on line and at my whit's end to find more hours in a day, lol.

I have managed to stay ahead of the degree's outlined curriculum, taking a few classes a semester in advance. I project that this will lighten my work load as I advance to upper division. In addition, I enjoy taking classes with some of the older students, for they have a great deal to offer and I have made many friend throughout the program where I am comfortable with working in many atmospheres. This semester has also afforded many opportunities for me to become more active in the school community. I serve on the Dean's Council as a sophomore representative, as well as a member of the studio culture committee.

I have recently taking on the role of publications chair for my fraternity and partake in many of their other extracurricular activities. I'm going to be even more productive this year. I am also in the course of finding a summer internship.. Please keep your eyes and ears open for me! I would really like to work at a firm this year. I have an extensive foundation in engineering, yet I wish to partake in a hands-on architectural environment. I don't know, I'm sure that there is a lot more for me to write about but it won't come to me right now. I want to thank you for being supportive over these last few years and I will continue to write.

TTYL,

Dayvie J. Paschall
