Mahad is majoring in aerospace engineering at University of Colorado ‐ Boulder, seeking a career as an Air Force Fighter Pilot and eventually an Astronaut. Mahad had a 3.8 GPA through the 1st semester of his senior year, mostly in advanced placement classes (college credits). Astonishingly, he devoted over 350 hours to community and youth programs in 2007.
