Marvin Echols III is a 2010 recipient of a Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation’s $1,500 scholarship award.
Marvin Echols III attended Cardinal Ritter College Preparatory High School where he graduated with a 3.8 GPA. Marvin participated in a number of academic, social and sports committees. The academic committees he served on were the Science Club, Intern Leadership Program, Student Ambassadors, National Honor Society Tutors, and Junior Achievement. Marvin social committees include Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. – Kappa League Leadership Program as President, The Brotherhood, and school newspaper as editor for the section “Senior Confessions”.
Marvin will be attending Saint Louis University in the Fall to obtain a degree in Mathematics with a minor in Physics or Engineering. While in college he also plans to study abroad and learn how other cultures use engineering, technology, and mathematics to sustain their country and help their people. His ultimate goal is to obtain a Ph.D. in Engineering or Mathematics.
