Mahad M. Fahieh is the 2008 Pratt & Whitney Golden Eagle Scholarship recipient.

Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp. company, in partnership with the Tuskegee Airmen Scholarship Foundation, awarded Mahad M. Fahieh of Aurora, Colorado, the 2008 Golden Eagle Scholarship. The four-year, $20,000 award recognizes a high school senior who has demonstrated an aptitude for aerospace technology and aviation. Mahad plans to major in aerospace engineering at University of Colorado - Boulder, seeking a career as an Air Force Fighter Pilot and eventually an Astronaut.

Mahad has a 3.8 GPA through the 1st semester of his senior year, mostly in advanced placement classes (college credits). Astonishingly, he devoted over 350 hours to community and youth programs in 2007. He was presented with his award at the 2008 Tuskegee Airmen Convention Youth Luncheon in Philadelphia on July 19, 2008.
